It is done! Our recording
sessions at Kaiku Studios Berlin are completed.
Time passed by super fast, and we are filled with great impressions, ideas, inspiration and excitement.
It was lovely to work with Jonas, Janne and Palmu; drinking liters of coffee and ordering tonnes of Asian food. The studio is definitely a place where we felt at home, but it can also be quite challenging, since we become our own audience while listening to the results.
After recording the guitars, vox, melodica, glockenspiel, kalimba and organ, we started generating some beautifully weird synth sounds, accompanied by organic beats that were produced through natural materials like stones, cracking branches, footsteps in the snow, and much more.
So far, the album is taking a direction we LOVE.
